About Me
Hey there! My name is Lucy! I'm originally from Queens, New York and am now proudly serving our Maple Grove, Minnesota Community.
There's a lot of different hairstylists out there... I'm a very artsy one. I run my entire business from a salon suite solo style... so I guess you can say life has gotten unexpectedly busier since I moved from NY a few years ago... but in a happier and much more different way. Happiness is balance and kindness. I designed my salon space without the noise of the outside world in mind; a clean space to feel clear, calm and collected with your inner self more than ever before.
I've been doing hair for 11 years and still find most of my inspiration lies in nature and people. Anyone that knows me knows I've always been big on continuing education and would even travel half way across the country for it. POST Covid Era and having a kid, a lot of the educators that I have followed for years and admire now have classes I can take on my own watch 24-7 so if ANYthing good came out of covid, this was its gift to me.
I want a very stale, cold and unwelcoming feeling when I sit down in a salon chair
said no one ever. I know what it's like to be anxious in settings where you have no choice but to trust the pilot. To me that doesn't mean you have to feel turbulent the whole way through your service. In fact, I'm confident that this makes my experience exceptional. Everything I do and why I do it is completely transparent from start to finish. I love walking my guests through the steps of what I'm doing and why so they get a better understanding of how having even the simplest of routines is not only important, but necessary for progress and growth.
When I'm not in the salon, I love a good date night AKA an excuse to glam up, a night out with friends at a live music show or taking the baby girl out for a stroll in the beautiful weather. If I find myself too tired to go out, I'm searching for new hair-inspo online and putting together new playlists for the week to come.
